Street Report 10-6-2026
The outreach this week was very fruitful. We met a young man, and after speaking with him for several minutes, we asked him if he had ever heard the gospel. He said no and listened eagerly. He was a bit shy and wasn’t ready for salvation, but we keep pointing people to Jesus, because He is the solution. We should never underestimate the power of the seed. God saves; we are the ministers of reconciliation.
Dan spoke to another man about sobriety; this was the third time he had spoken to him. He seemed to have a better attitude and was happy to receive a pamphlet. He was leaning toward the direction of getting help.
We saw Laurie and were saddened to see her still at the park. She said it has been challenging with all the rain. Pray that she will come to her senses and go to the Christian shelter. There is an old saying: you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. We find the same challenges with people; when the Lord sends help, we need to receive it.
We distributed the life of Jesus booklets and some other materials. One of the ladies with us gave out tangerines, which the people were happy to receive.
We won’t be out next week; we are leaving for Nevada on Monday.
Pray that we have divine appointments on the way up, safe travels, and a fruitful ministry time in Nevada.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
